Launch the App: Open the Electrical Testing 17 app on your device.

  1. Access Main Interface: Upon launching, you'll be directed to the main interface where you can begin your electrical testing journey.

  2. Enter Ze and Zs Values: Input the values for Ze (earth fault loop impedance) and Zs (earth fault loop impedance of the supply) in the designated fields.

  3. Choose Calculation Type: Select the calculation type by choosing between "Ring" or "Radial" options. Ring allows for comprehensive analysis of ring circuits, while Radial is suitable for radial circuits.

  4. Perform Calculation: Click on the "Calculate" button to initiate the calculation process. The app will process the inputs and provide you with the results.

  5. Review Results: After calculation, review the results displayed on the screen. This includes values for r1, r2, R1 + R2, rn, and Zs, depending on the chosen calculation type.

  6. Save Circuit (Optional): If desired, you can save the circuit for future reference by entering a unique circuit name in the designated field and clicking on the "Save" button.

  7. Copy Results (Optional): Additionally, you can copy the results to your device's clipboard by clicking on the "Copy" button.

  8. Explore Saved Circuits (Optional): If you've saved circuits previously, you can access them by scrolling through the list of saved circuits in the app's interface.

  9. Delete Circuits (Optional): To remove any saved circuits, simply select the circuit you wish to delete and click on the "Delete" button.

Our app is designed to simplify electrical testing processes for users. Upon launching the app, users are prompted to enter the value of Ze measured from the consumer unit. Once this value is entered, users can input the value of Zs and hit the 'Calculate' button. The app then performs calculations based on the entered values to determine the values of r1, r2, R1+R2, & rn
